Born in Bangladesh. Built in Italy. Forty-eight years of work, study, service, and politics — distilled into five milestones.

Born in Chandpur
Born June 1, 1978 in Chandpur, Bangladesh. Educated at Hasan Ali High School, Chandpur Government College, and Chittagong City College.
2000
Moves to Italy
Settles in Milano. Engages with social work and the local community while running a small bar — first ground-level connection to Italy.
2003
Joins Partito Democratico
Drawn to Italian mainstream politics, joins the PD. Begins two decades of relationship-building, community organizing, and public service.
2021
Elected Councillor of Milano
The first person of Asian origin to hold this office in Milano's history. A historic milestone for representation in Italy.
2026
Campaign for Milano
Leading a team of 18 toward the full Milano municipal election. The work continues — direct service, honest communication, presence.
